3D Modeling and Design 2023

@Online on Zoom

The course will start with an introduction to 3D modeling and its applications in various fields. Students will then learn the fundamentals of using TinkerCAD and Onshape, a user-friendly 3D design software. They will be guided through the software's interface, tools, and functionalities, and be introduced to the concept of creating 3D models using basic shapes and custom designs.

Throughout the course, kids will engage in interactive activities and challenges to reinforce their understanding of 3D modeling and design concepts. They will have the opportunity to design and create different models, from simple geometric shapes to more complex designs such as figurines, toys, and household items. At the end of the camp, students will have the opportunity to get their model 3D-printed and delivered to them!
